One objective of Belt & Road Institute is to cultivate higher level innovation team, to promote talent communication, and to develop think tank, which can cultivate professional talent for Xuzhou and countries along Belt & Road. 

So far, the university have signed the cooperation protocol with several foreign organizations, including Kazakhstan Suleyman Demirel University, Sino-Kazakhstan International Language College, Ukraine International Student ’ Federation. In addition, the university has a long term cooperation relationship with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kasetsart University, and Taylor's University. In recent years, the university cultivate more than 400 foreign students from the countries along Belt & Road.
